Hi Subscriber First Name! A combination of a soul-crushing work load, pre-election jitters, and post-election grief meant that this newsletter took a back seat and for that I am sorry. In full transparency, I was already behind on getting my shit in a pile for this month’s newsletter, and once the election results were known, I was like, nothing matters anymore so why bother sending this out. But that’s the thing. It does matter. Not the book links or the social media graphics, no, those are great to create and share, but I’m talking about community. Being together, even if virtually, and letting each other know that we are here and ready to fight. Even if that is just keeping your “normal” and still trying to live your life authentically and with joy. And for me, that means still posting about books and planners and filling my stories with bookish nonsense and #TransLivesMatter posts.
If you know me IRL, then you know why this election was devastating for our family and why I pretty much lost it over on Instagram. And I hope you’ll understand my delay in getting this out. There was a lot to process and a lot to start planning in terms of the future. And part of that includes getting back to what brings me joy, aka you all and this community we’ve built. I can’t tell you how much you all mean to me. So, I thank you for being here and for your patience while I get things together. <3
PS - I’m still doing my annual Holiday Romance Reading Challenge this year too! Stay tuned for more info on that over on Instagram. :) I was thinking that it might be fun to send you all the complete list of novellas that I’ve compiled for this year. I always have more than I need to complete the challenge and I hate to think of those not chosen still “sitting” there on my google doc. Would anyone be interested in receiving that? Let me know!

For this month’s templates, I wanted something Fall, without being Thanksgiving as we have some non-Americans in this here group. :) My first thought of Fall (after leaves and turkey, lol) are mushrooms. I saw this little house and rabbit and thought, maybe she lives there and likes to go out and read in her little yard and then pick mushrooms. I hope you like this set. For next month, I am thinking of doing two - one for Christmas and one that’s non-holiday but more of a winter-y feel.
