Hi Subscriber First Name! Welp. I’ve denied that summer is coming for long enough. It’s here and I’m inside. I will be spending June - August with the A/C on 60* so I can still use my fuzzy socks and blankets and pretend it’s Fall. Despite my hatred for sun and summer activities, I DO love summer reads. I don’t mind reading about sun and summer activities as long as I can do it inside of the aforementioned meat locker that is my house. And y’all, do we have a PACKED summer of reading ahead of us. I’m legit excited to share TEN books with you for your June TBR piles. But before I share those, I have a tiny admin question for you all. In last year’s newsletters I used to have a section called The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly where I shared bookish news. Did you all like that? Would you like to see it added back in? I come across stories and I’m like, OOOO, I WANT TO TALK ABOUT THIS, but I’m not sure if anyone will be interested. Let me know if you’d like that segment back and I’ll add it to the July newsletter! :)

I know it’s Pride Month and that seems like it should have been a no brainer for this month’s designs, but truthfully, I can’t stop thinking/reading/consuming the horrifying news out of Gaza and I wanted to do something to show my support for the Palestinians. If you feel inclined to donate funds to the many organizations and gofundme campaigns being shared, but don’t know where to start, Gaza Funds spotlights one campaign each time the page is reloaded. It’s an easy way to contribute directly to people in need.
