Hi Subscriber First Name! Happy April! It’s weird to be in the second quarter of the year, no? I feel like January and February took FOREVER to pack up their sh*t and go but then March flew by so fast.
To be honest, I’ve been kind of dreading April as this is usually the month I DNF everything. I haven’t finished a book in April in like three years now? Blergh. BUT, I have HIGH HOPES for this month of reading! And why is that?

The Golden Girls cozy mystery will be out in less than TWO WEEKS! I know I’m not alone in my love of the Golden Girls and to have such a beloved show made into a (hopefully) series of cozies??? I am legit SO EXCITED! I’m also super pumped for this month’s Romance University pick - Regarding the Duke by Grace Callaway. You can read more about it below but I feel like it was fate because after I made the graphic for the newsletter, I saw this post by @bandherbooks on Threads informing us that this book is currently on sale for $0.99! (It’s also part of KoboPlus if you have that subscription.) Anyone want to buddy read? Okay, enough about me and my reading plans for this month. Let’s talk about NEW books coming out this April.
