Hi Subscriber First Name!

So, it’s confession time.

I had an entirely different intro written but I scrapped it once I had a chance to really read what I had written because y’all, it got super dark and super intense and I was getting SUPER into my feels about the romance genre in general. Let me say super one more time, lol.

I pretty much started out by admitting that I was back in my Romance Reading Slump and then it spiraled into a long diatribe about the State of Romance and my contributions to it all, and yeah, it was not great, lol. So I scrapped it. I mean, if you are interested in reading it (it’s messy, y’all) let me know and I will share it with you. If enough of you want to read it, I’ll just make it another newsletter.

Now, onto the Book Recs!

I’ve got SEVEN new books for you this month - four romances, a thriller, one YA fantasy, and a new cozy mystery series. Something for everyone!

I’m so excited about this month’s social media graphics! Despite my hatred for all things summer, I set out to do something beach-y. Waves and sand and big, bright umbrellas, but when I saw this coral reef design, I couldn’t resist. They are a bit different in layout, with the month on the bottom, but I think it works, no? I hope you all enjoy them!
